A study in the United States has discovered that close proximity to a coffee shop has an effect on the price of houses in that area.
The study found that homes within a quarter of a mile of a coffee shop were directly affected by a positive surge in home value.
According to amNewYork, over 17 years the homes adjacent to a local coffee shop almost doubled in value, with houses further away still increasing in price by 65 per cent.
